No. Pettize is a Progressive Web App — it works in any browser on any device. Your clients access their visit reports via a private magic link, no signup or app download required. This is especially great for elderly clients who may struggle with new apps.

Can I import my existing clients?

Yes — manually for now. Just open Clients → Add client and fill in details. We're working on CSV import for sitters with 20+ clients. If you need help migrating from spreadsheets or another tool, email us.
Does Pettize work for cat sitters, bird sitters, and other pets?

Yes. While we use dog-walking examples on this site, Pettize supports dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, fish, and "other" species. Each pet has its own profile with species-specific care details.
How do photo reports work?

During a visit, tap 'Add photo' and either take a new photo with your phone camera or upload from your gallery. Up to 6 photos per visit. When you complete the visit, the owner automatically receives an email with the photos, your care checklist, and any notes you wrote — like a polished visit recap they can save forever.
Is my client data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each sitter can only see their own clients (enforced by row-level security in our database). Photos are stored in private storage with signed URLs that expire after one hour. Owner portal links use 256-bit random tokens.
